President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, recently received heartfelt letters from junior and senior high school students at Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong, West Java. The President took time to personally read the letters in his office, as shared through the Cabinet Secretariat’s official Instagram account. The post featured photographs of President Prabowo engaging with the letters and a handwritten note from one student.
One of the students, Erni Andayani, wrote a moving letter expressing gratitude to Prabowo for inaugurating Sekolah Rakyat, which provided access to quality education and ignited aspirations. The school, launched for the 2025–2026 academic year and managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs, targets children from economically disadvantaged families. Sekolah Rakyat operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
The students thanked President Prabowo for founding the school and expressed readiness to become the Golden Generation of the nation. The letters depicted the impact of Sekolah Rakyat in providing opportunities for underprivileged students and ensuring a brighter future. The story of the students’ gratitude and hope was a meaningful testament to the President’s commitment to education and empowerment.
