Moka Selection Event Kabupaten Cianjur 2025 welcomes a unique participant, a seventh-semester Law student at Suryakancana University named Siti Lathifah (21). Originating from Karangtengah, she brings a strong vision to integrate tourism with legal principles and sustainability. With a passion for reading, writing, and singing, Sila, as she is fondly called, sees this event as an extraordinary opportunity, marking her debut in the pageant world.
Despite initial doubts, Sila expressed gratitude for the new learning opportunities gained throughout the process, from broader insights to a closer acquaintance with the region’s potential. Actively involved in the Public Speaking Student Activity Unit on campus, she shared her ambitious program “Tri Pillar Program for Empowered Cianjur.”
Recognizing Cianjur’s incredible natural, cultural, and culinary richness, Sila is determined to implement programs emphasizing the importance of a tourism sector that is legal and sustainable. Her flagship program consists of three pillars. Firstly, Legal Awareness Tourism aims to educate stakeholders about licensing, intellectual property rights, and legal regulations to ensure orderly and fair tourism. Secondly, the Eco-Tourism Campaign focuses on maintaining cleanliness and respecting local culture through destination clean-up activities, social media campaigns, and educational sign installations. Thirdly, she proposed the Cultural and Legal Festival as a platform to showcase Cianjur’s cultural pillars and discuss legal protection for cultural heritage.
Sila’s academic track record and organizational experience are the foundation of her vision. Having authored a journal on the Government’s Role in Monitoring Mount Padang Recreation Fees to Improve Community Welfare, she also has a diverse background in organizing events and internships.
In her quest to engage Mojang Jajaka Cianjur as Green Ambassadors promoting cultural and environmental awareness, Sila emphasized the importance of educating through social media content. Acknowledging the invaluable support from her family, Sila highlighted the significance of their encouragement and prayers. This solid backing strengthened her commitment to collaborating with various parties to educate the youth through the School of Tourism and Culture Awareness program in Cianjur.
Through her Moka Cianjur experience, Sila hopes the younger generation will embrace self-discovery, contribute to advancing their region, and become change agents for a more competitive and culturally rich community.
