Mobil-mobil Super Halus: Mengapa Mereka Lebih Baik?

BMW’s design evolution has been a subject of discussion among automotive enthusiasts. From the iconic 507 Roadster in the late 1950s to the bold designs of the 2020s, the company has seen a transformation in its design language. Oliver Heilmer, the Head of Design for compact and midsize BMW models, shares his thoughts on the evolution of BMW’s design philosophy. He emphasizes a shift towards a more subtle and emotional approach, moving away from attention-grabbing designs.

The iconic kidney grille, a signature element of BMW’s design, will continue to adapt in shape and size depending on the model. From the classic 303 sedan of 1933 to the modern iX3 SUV, the grille design pays homage to the brand’s history while incorporating contemporary styling elements. While some models like the M3 and M4 retain the large vertical grille, other models will feature a more understated design, reminiscent of classic BMW models like the 507 Roadster.

Heilmer also addresses the future of BMW’s design elements, mentioning the departure from round headlights known as “Angel Eyes” and the fading use of chrome accents in favor of intricate LED daytime running lights. The brand remains committed to design differentiation, with models like the upcoming Seri 7 facelift and X7 retaining unique features like separate main headlights.

As BMW gears up to launch over 40 facelifted and new-generation models by the end of 2027, the company is poised to introduce elements of the Neue Klasse design philosophy across its lineup. With a renewed focus on electrification and advanced technology, BMW’s future models promise to combine futuristic aesthetics with cutting-edge innovation both inside and out. The iX3 2027 model, for example, boasts a redesigned interior with a 17.9-inch central display and features like Panoramic Vision projection system.

With a sleeker exterior and a minimalist interior design philosophy, BMW is embracing a new era of automotive design. While advancements like touchscreens and voice commands are leading the way for BMW’s interactive technology, customer feedback suggests a growing demand for physical buttons and controls. As the automotive industry shifts towards electric vehicles and high-tech innovations, BMW remains committed to blending heritage with innovation in its design language.
